Provides rides for only the following purposes: medical appointments, grocery shopping, or social or recreational purposes. Also, you must meet at least one of these criteria: you are 60+ years old, or you have a disability. No membership is required.
The Senior Transportation program offers convenient and affordable transportation options for older adults in the community. Rides to the Baldwin Senior Center are available for just $1 round trip, with the option to purchase a twelve-ride punch card for $10 for added convenience. For those who are unable to visit the Baldwin Center, punch cards can also be purchased directly from the drivers. Medical rides are provided free of charge to ensure older adults can access essential healthcare services without worry.
Transportation through this program is available via bus or train, providing older adults with flexibility in their travel options. To utilize this service, riders are encouraged to schedule their trips in advance, allowing for efficient planning and coordination.
