Dial-A-Ride is a convenient transportation program designed to assist older adults in getting around town. By purchasing a Dial-A-Ride pass for an individual or couple at the cost of a modest annual donation, participants gain access to bus or train transportation services. This program offers shared rides, allowing older adults to socialize with others while getting to their destinations. To utilize this service, older adults must schedule their rides a few days in advance and pre-pay for their trips. The program ensures door-to-door transportation, prioritizing the comfort and convenience of its users. Please note that drivers are unable to accept donations during the rides. Dial-A-Ride passes can be obtained at designated locations such as the Senior Center and Social Services offices, making it easily accessible for those interested in joining the program.
