Dial-A-Ride is a convenient transportation service tailored for older adults who reside in Greenwich and its neighboring areas. This program offers comfortable van rides charged at an hourly rate depending on the distance of the trip. For rides within Greenwich or within a 7-mile radius, the cost is $5 per ride, for trips spanning 7-20 miles the charge is $10 per ride, and for destinations exceeding 20 miles, an hourly rate applies. To utilize this service, older adults are required to book their rides with a few days' notice. Dial-A-Ride accepts payment in the form of checks or cash, accommodating various preferences. The program ensures seamless curb-to-curb transportation, granting older adults a stress-free mode of travel within and around Greenwich.
