Wilton Town-to-Town Paratransit is a convenient transportation program designed to assist older adults in traveling between different towns. Operating on a fare-based system, individual trips are priced at $3.50, with the cost increasing to $7 for crossing two towns and $10.50 for crossing three towns one-way. To access this service, older adults must first register with the RMPay system and ensure they have sufficient balance before embarking on their trips.
This paratransit program offers a reliable mode of transportation through buses or trains, allowing older adults to move between towns with ease. With the requirement to schedule rides in advance, participants can plan their journeys ahead of time and enjoy shared rides with others in the program.
