Provides rides for only the following purposes: medical appointments. Also, you must meet at least one of these criteria: you have a disability. No membership is required.

The Out-of-Town Medical Transportation program offers a membership-based service for older adults who need transportation for medical appointments outside their local area. The program allows members to purchase Dial-A-Ride passes for a fee at the Senior and Disabled Center, providing them with 24 one-way trips at a cost of $8.40. Transportation is offered through bus or train services, ensuring flexibility and convenience for riders. To utilize this program, older adults must schedule their rides in advance, typically requiring a few days' notice. Pre-payment is accepted for added convenience. Additionally, the program offers curb-to-curb transportation, enhancing accessibility for older adults with mobility challenges. This service aims to support older adults in accessing necessary medical care beyond their immediate vicinity, promoting their overall well-being and independence.
