Provides rides for only the following purposes: necessary errands, medical appointments, or grocery shopping. Also, you must meet at least one of these criteria: you are 60+ years old, or you have a disability. No membership is required.
The Senior Center Bus program offers transportation services for older adults, operating on a donation basis with a suggested contribution of $1.00 per one-way ride. This program utilizes buses and trains to provide shared rides for older adults needing transportation. Riders are required to schedule their trips in advance, usually a few days before the intended travel date. The service offers curb-to-curb transportation, ensuring that older adults are safely picked up and dropped off at their desired locations.
Additionally, the Senior Center Bus program allows riders to travel with their service animals, accommodating the needs of older adults who rely on assistance animals for companionship or support.
