Provides rides for only the following purposes: necessary errands, medical appointments, or grocery shopping. Also, you must meet at least one of these criteria: you are 60+ years old, or you have a disability. No membership is required.
Dial-A-Ride is a convenient transportation program available to older adults in the community. This program offers door-to-door transportation services using minibusses and trains. While there is no fee to use the service, a suggested semi-annual donation of $20 is greatly appreciated to support the program's operations and ensure its continued availability.
To utilize Dial-A-Ride, older adults are required to schedule their rides in advance, typically a few days before the intended travel date. This program offers shared rides, allowing multiple riders to travel together to their destinations. Dial-A-Ride prioritizes accessibility and convenience by providing personalized pick-up and drop-off services, making it easier for older adults to reach their desired locations safely and comfortably.
