Provides rides for only the following purposes: necessary errands, medical appointments, grocery shopping, or social or recreational purposes. Also, you must meet at least one of these criteria: you are 60+ years old, or you have a disability. No membership is required.
The Transportation Assistance program offers complimentary rides to older adults in the community. Through the generosity of donations, older adults can access transportation services without any cost involved. Utilizing vans for transportation, this program ensures that older adults have a reliable means of getting to their desired destinations.
When utilizing the Transportation Assistance program, older adults are encouraged to schedule their rides at least one week in advance. By doing so, they can secure their spot and better plan their transportation needs. This program provides curb-to-curb transportation, meaning that older adults will be picked up and dropped off directly at their designated locations, ensuring convenience and ease of travel.
