The Town of Bridgeport transportation program offers a free service for older adults in the community. This program operates via buses or trains with shared ride options along fixed routes. Scheduled pickups are available twice daily, departing from the Veteran’s Affairs Office at 9:45 a.m. and 1 p.m., with return trips from the V.A. Hospital back to Bridgeport at 1:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. The service ensures convenient curb-to-curb transportation to assist older adults in reaching their destinations safely and efficiently. By accepting donations, the Town of Bridgeport program remains cost-free, providing older adults with a reliable means of transportation to meet their daily travel needs.
