Provides rides for any purpose, as long as you meet one of the following criteria: you are 60+ years old, or , and are a member or sign-up to become a member.

The Transportation Assistance program offers a convenient way for older adults to travel within the community. To access this service, individuals are required to have an active Canoe Brook Center membership, which costs $8 per year. Once enrolled, participants can enjoy complimentary transportation via bus or train for their scheduled appointments or outings. One of the key features of this program is the option for shared rides, allowing multiple passengers to travel together. Riders are encouraged to schedule their transportation a few days in advance to ensure availability. The program offers curb-to-curb service, ensuring older adults can travel safely from their starting point to their destination and back. Participants can take advantage of this service for appointments scheduled between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM, with return trips by 2:30 PM. The program is funded through donations and accepts pre-payments for added convenience. Overall, the Transportation Assistance program aims to provide older adults with a reliable and cost-effective way to get around the community and attend important engagements.
