Provides rides for only the following purposes: necessary errands, or medical appointments. Also, you must meet at least one of these criteria: you are 60+ years old. No membership is required.

The Transportation Benefit Program offers convenient and affordable transportation options for older adults in the community. Through this program, older adults can access transportation services via car or van for various needs such as medical appointments, grocery shopping, or social outings. Riders are encouraged to schedule their rides a few days in advance through the Rides In Advance service, ensuring timely and reliable transportation. The program suggests a donation of $2 per one-way trip, making it a cost-effective choice for older adults on a budget. Payment can be made in cash or by check, providing flexibility for riders. Additionally, shared rides are available, allowing multiple older adults to travel together to their destinations. The program offers curb-to-curb transportation, prioritizing the safety and comfort of older adults throughout their journey. By accepting donations and offering multiple payment options, the Transportation Benefit Program strives to make transportation accessible and convenient for older adults in the community.
