Provides rides for any purpose, to all people, and no membership is required.
Demand Response Services is a public transit program designed to provide convenient and affordable transportation options for older adults. Riders over 60 can ride for free, with the option to make donations if desired. For those under 60, the standard fares are $1.00 per one-way trip within town or $4.00 per one-way trip for destinations outside the town.
To utilize this program, riders must schedule their trips in advance, typically a few days ahead. This ensures efficient planning and coordination of rides. Payment can be made either by check or in cash, offering flexibility to participants. The program offers shared rides, making it a cost-effective and communal way to travel.
Demand Response Services delivers curb-to-curb transportation, prioritizing the safety and convenience of its passengers. By providing accessible and inclusive transportation services, this program aims to support older adults in maintaining their independence and mobility within the community.
