 Provides rides for only the following purposes: medical appointments. Also, you must meet at least one of these criteria: you are 60+ years old, or you have a disability. No membership is required. 
Dial-A-Ride is a transportation service designed to meet the needs of older adults who may require assistance getting around the community. This program offers affordable rides at a cost of $0.50 each way, with the option to purchase prepaid cards in $5 and $10 increments for added convenience. Additionally, friends or relatives can accompany passengers for a small fee of $1 each way, promoting a sense of inclusivity and companionship during travels.
For those who qualify based on low-income guidelines, a $15 monthly pass is available, ensuring access to essential transportation at a reduced rate. To utilize Dial-A-Ride, passengers are encouraged to schedule their rides in advance, allowing for efficient planning and coordination of travel arrangements. The program facilitates shared rides in vans, creating a sociable and cost-effective way to reach desired destinations.
Furthermore, Dial-A-Ride accommodates riders with service animals, prioritizing the comfort and safety of passengers with additional needs. By offering a reliable and accessible transportation option, this program aims to enhance the mobility and independence of older adults within the community.
