The Transportation program offers affordable rides for older adults residing in the central Ukiah area and surrounding neighborhoods. For just $3.00 per one-way ride within Ukiah, older adults can easily access essential services, appointments, and social activities. Additionally, rides to and from locations like Forks, Lake Mendocino Dr., Calpella, Rogina Heights, Deerwood, and Talmage are available for $4.50 per trip, while trips to Redwood Valley are priced at $6.00 each way. To utilize this convenient service, older adults need to schedule their rides a few days in advance, ensuring timely and efficient transportation. Payment for rides can be made by check or in cash, providing flexibility for riders. The program also offers shared rides, promoting a sense of community and camaraderie among passengers.
