Learn More About This Program

Please make sure to contact Altura Centers for Health: Transportation to confirm details of their transportation services.

Provides rides for only the following purposes: medical appointments. It's open to the public and no membership is required.

The Transportation program offers a convenient and cost-free way for older adults to get around. Designed to cater to the needs of older adults, this program provides transportation services using vans. One of the key features of this program is that it is completely free of charge, making it a budget-friendly option for those looking to travel to medical appointments, social engagements, or run errands. To utilize this program, riders are asked to schedule their rides in advance, usually requiring a few days' notice. This advance scheduling system, known as Rides In Advance, helps ensure that older adults can plan their trips effectively and secure a spot on the vans. By offering reliable transportation services and removing the financial barrier, the Transportation program aims to enhance the independence and mobility of older adults, enabling them to continue engaging in community activities and accessing essential services.
