Dial-A-Ride is a convenient transportation program designed for older adults in need of reliable and affordable transportation options. This program goes the extra mile by offering assistance with packages or bags, ensuring a stress-free travel experience for older adults. Utilizing buses and trains, Dial-A-Ride ensures convenient and accessible transportation for its riders. To book a ride, older adults are encouraged to schedule their trips a few days in advance, allowing for efficient planning and coordination. Pre-payment options are available for added convenience, and riders can pay in cash at the time of boarding. Shared rides are also a feature of this program, promoting community engagement and social connections among older adults. For those requiring special accommodations, Dial-A-Ride caters to wheelchair-accessible vehicle requests with at least one hour's notice.
