The Dial a Ride program offers convenient and affordable transportation for individuals needing a ride to various destinations within the community. Riders can enjoy the ease of bus or train transportation at a cost of $0.50 per ride. Additionally, visually impaired passengers, aides/companion riders, and children under 5 years old can travel for free (up to two children per adult).
To utilize this program, riders must schedule their trips a few days in advance and have the option to pay for their rides using cash or check. Dial a Ride provides curb-to-curb transportation services, ensuring a safe and comfortable journey from pick-up to drop-off locations. Moreover, riders are welcome to travel with their service animals, accommodating their specific needs during transit.
