The Dial-a-Cab program offers convenient transportation services to older adults through taxi rides. To utilize this program, riders are required to schedule their trips at least one day in advance. The cost of a one-way trip is only $1.00, which should be paid directly to the driver as a co-pay fare. Riders can take advantage of a maximum of 20 trips per month through this program. In order to utilize the Dial-a-Cab service, riders are encouraged to schedule their rides a few days in advance to secure their transportation needs. Payment for these services can be made through checks or in cash, offering flexibility to the riders. Additionally, there is an option for on-demand scheduling, allowing for more spontaneous transportation arrangements. Overall, Dial-a-Cab provides older adults with curb-to-curb transportation services, ensuring they can easily get to their desired destinations with minimal hassle. Riders should keep in mind that there is a $5 replacement fee for lost ID cards, further highlighting the importance of keeping track of identification for seamless travel experiences within the program.
