The Taxi Voucher Program at Casanova Oak Knoll Park Center offers an accessible transportation option for older adults in need of convenient and flexible rides. Through this program, participants have the opportunity to utilize taxi services by using vouchers or coupons to help cover the cost of their trips.
Individuals taking part in the program are only required to pay a $3 copay in addition to using one voucher for each taxi ride, as long as the fare does not exceed $17. If the fare surpasses $17, the rider is responsible for covering the remaining cost. It's important to note that only one voucher can be used per trip, allowing for a straightforward and easy-to-use system.
Participants have the freedom to schedule their transportation on-demand, providing flexibility and convenience for their daily travel needs. Curb-to-curb transportation is offered through this program, ensuring that older adults can safely and comfortably reach their destinations. The Taxi Voucher Program is designed to support older adults in maintaining their independence and accessing the transportation they require for a fulfilling lifestyle.

Rides must originate and terminate in one of these two areas; Area 1: Anywhere within the city limits of Salinas.Area 2: Anywhere within the city limits of Carmel, Del Rey Oaks, Monterey, Pacific Grove, Sand City, and Seaside.
