Provides rides for any purpose, as long as you meet one of the following criteria: you are 65+ years old, or you have a disability.
The Transportation Program offers older adults the opportunity to schedule affordable rides for $1 per trip, with payment accepted in either cash or by check. By providing shared rides in vans, this program offers a convenient way for older adults to reach their destinations while also enjoying social interactions with fellow passengers. Riders are encouraged to schedule their trips a few days in advance through the Rides In Advance feature, ensuring that transportation needs are met in a timely manner. Emphasizing both cost-effectiveness and community engagement, the Transportation Program aims to enhance the mobility and independence of older adults in accessing essential services and activities.
