Dial a Ride is a comprehensive transportation program designed to provide older adults with efficient and convenient access to non-emergency medical transportation services. Participants can schedule rides in advance, ensuring a timely and reliable mode of transportation via taxis. The program offers the flexibility of on-demand scheduling and shared rides, catering to individual needs. One of the key features of Dial a Ride is its payment options, including insurance, vouchers, donations, and credit card payments, making it accessible to a wide range of individuals. The program also accepts Medicaid payments and offers a membership option with a flat fee structure. Participants have the convenience of pre-paying for rides, with each one-way trip costing $1 credited to a personal swipe card, allowing for up to 40 ride credits per month. With a focus on inclusivity and accessibility, Dial a Ride ensures that riders are assisted with packages or bags and permits service animals on board. The program provides various modes of transportation, from cars to vans, and follows fixed routes for efficient travel. Service Area

Limited to trips originating and terminating in the area between Hawthorne Blvd and Vermont Ave and between Sepulveda Blvd and Pacific Coast Hwy and where the city boundary crosses over the highway. Anything past the service area designated requires an additional fee.
