The Senior Mobility Program offers convenient and affordable non-emergency medical transportation services for older adults. This program utilizes taxis as a mode of transportation and is available for health and wellness appointments at a cost of $2 per one-way ride. Riders can schedule their trips in advance, either a day or a few days ahead, based on their needs. Payment options include insurance, vouchers, donations, and credit cards, providing flexibility for older adults to choose a preferred method. In addition to providing private rides, the program also offers shared rides, allowing for a more cost-effective transportation option. The program ensures accessibility by providing door-to-door transportation and accommodating service animals when needed. With a focus on serving the community, the program offers paratransit services and accepts Medicaid payments, making it an inclusive and supportive transportation service for older adults.
