The Transportation Assistance Program, known as Senior Transportation, provides convenient and reliable transportation services for older adults. This non-emergency medical transportation program offers rides via taxi or private car to ensure that older adults can reach their destinations safely and comfortably. To access this program, riders need to schedule their trips in advance, with options for on-demand scheduling available as well. Rides through this program are priced at $1 to $3, depending on the distance from Fort Bragg, providing an affordable option for older adults. Additionally, this program offers various payment methods, including insurance, vouchers, donations, and membership fees. There is also the flexibility to pay with cash, check, credit card, or Medicaid payments, ensuring that older adults can choose the payment method that suits them best. The Transportation Assistance Program focuses on meeting the diverse needs of older adults, offering door-to-door or curb-to-curb transportation services.
