Dial a Ride is a convenient transportation option for older adults in the community. With a cost of only $0.50 each way, this program offers affordable shared rides in vans for those who schedule their trips ahead of time. Riders can easily book their curb-to-curb transportation a few days in advance, ensuring they reach their destination on time. Payments can be made either by check or in cash, providing flexibility for older adults using the service. Additionally, riders are welcome to bring their service animals along for the journey, making it easier for those who rely on their furry companions for assistance and companionship.
