The Medical Transportation program offers convenient and affordable transportation options for older adults. For a cost of $10 one-way or $20 round trip, older adults can access rides to medical appointments and other essential services. There is also the option to have a personal assistant accompany the older adult at no extra charge. Riders are required to schedule their trips in advance, allowing them to plan their transportation needs with ease. Payment can be made using a check, credit card, or cash, providing flexibility for riders. The program utilizes vans for transportation, ensuring older adults can travel comfortably to their destinations. By utilizing the Medical Transportation program, older adults can access curb-to-curb transportation services, and they can also benefit from shared rides if available. This program prioritizes the needs of older adults, offering a reliable and efficient way to travel to important appointments and engagements.
