Financially, the program offers various payment options, including insurance, vouchers or coupons, donations, and Medicaid. With a membership fee or flat fee structure, riders can purchase trips at a reasonable rate of $2 per trip, with a maximum value cap at $20, providing cost-effective transportation solutions. Moreover, Dial a Ride goes the extra mile by offering door-to-door or curb-to-curb transportation services, ensuring a seamless travel experience for older adults. The program also accommodates individuals with specific needs, such as assistance with packages or service animals.
