Provides rides for only the following purposes: medical appointments. Also, you must meet at least one of these criteria: you are 60+ years old. No membership is required.

The Medical Appointment Transportation program offers convenient and reliable transportation for older adults needing a non-emergency medical transportation service. With a focus on providing accessibility, this program arranges transportation through taxi services, accommodating scheduled rides at least one day in advance. The program welcomes various payment options, including insurance, vouchers, donations, and Medicaid payments, making it flexible and inclusive for older adults with different financial resources. One of the key features of this program is its commitment to ensuring comfort and convenience for older adults during their medical appointments. Whether traveling by car, bus, or train, the program offers door-to-door transportation that prioritizes the well-being and safety of its riders. Additionally, the service extends beyond medical appointments, enabling older adults to run errands or attend to other commitments with the assistance of a designated driver who waits for them. By offering fixed pricing at $2 per one-way trip, the program strives to make transportation affordable and accessible for older adults, fostering independence and promoting regular access to essential healthcare services. With options for on-demand scheduling, shared rides, and accommodating service animals, the Medical Appointment Transportation program is designed to meet the diverse needs of older adults in the community.

Service Area

In addition to medical facilities within our service area, this program also serves: Kaiser Lakeview and Kraemer Medical Offices Anaheim, UCI Orange, St. Joseph's Orange, and the VA Long Beach Veterans Hospital. Clients are limited to a maximum of 16 one-way trips per month. With some exceptions depending on medical conditions.
