Provides rides for only the following purposes: necessary errands, medical appointments, or grocery shopping. Also, you must meet at least one of these criteria: you are 60+ years old, or you have a disability. No membership is required.

The Volunteer Transportation program offers a valuable service to older adults by providing no-cost transportation using private cars. This program is designed to meet the needs of older adults who may face challenges in accessing transportation for daily errands, appointments, or social outings. To utilize this service, older adults are required to schedule their rides at least four days in advance, allowing for a smooth coordination process. One of the key features of this program is the presence of a dedicated driver who not only provides transportation but also waits for the passenger during their errands or appointments, ensuring a convenient and personalized experience. By eliminating the financial barrier to transportation and offering reliable assistance, the Volunteer Transportation program aims to enhance the mobility and independence of older adults, enabling them to engage more fully in their communities.
