The Elderly/Disabled Taxi Program offers convenient transportation services for older adults and individuals with disabilities. Pricing for eligible customers is budget-friendly, with a charge of $3.00 for the first and last stop (a total of $6 for a roundtrip) and an additional $1 for each extra stop along the route.
Participants can access transportation through buses or trains, providing flexibility in their commuting options. To secure a ride, individuals are encouraged to make reservations a few days in advance and have the choice to pay for their trips using either checks or cash. The program prioritizes customer convenience by offering curb-to-curb transportation services, catering to the specific needs of older adults and those with disabilities.
