This program offers the flexibility of scheduling rides at least one day in advance and accepts various payment options, including insurance, vouchers, donations, and Medicaid payments. Riders have the choice of private rides via taxi or car, as well as shared rides on buses or trains, ensuring different transportation preferences are accommodated. For added convenience, Home Care allows on-demand scheduling and offers door-to-door or curb-to-curb transportation services. Riders can also benefit from having a dedicated driver who will wait for them during appointments or errands. This program emphasizes inclusivity by permitting service animals to accompany riders, making the transportation experience more comfortable and accessible for all older adults.
