The Accessible Transportation Services program is a comprehensive transportation service tailored for older adults who need non-emergency medical transportation. With the ability to schedule rides in advance, riders can rest assured that their transportation needs will be met in a timely manner. Offering a variety of payment options, including insurance, vouchers, donations, and membership or flat fees, this program ensures flexibility and accessibility for all users.
Using a fleet of vehicles such as taxis, cars, vans, buses, and trains, Accessible Transportation Services provides a range of options for older adults to choose from. The program's drivers are trained to assist riders with packages or bags and are even able to wait for passengers during errands or appointments. Moreover, the service caters to individuals with disabilities, allowing service animals on board and providing door-to-door, curb-to-curb, and shared ride options for added convenience. With reasonable pricing details at $2.00 per one-way trip and various payment methods accepted, this program aims to make transportation stress-free for older adults in the community.
