Pricing varies, including hourly rates, flat fees, and the option of using vouchers, insurance, Medicaid, credit cards, or cash for payment. Additionally, the program allows for on-demand scheduling and provides an option for riders to have a driver wait while they run errands or attend appointments.
For added convenience, the Volunteer Driver Program provides door-to-door and curb-to-curb transportation, along fixed routes or on a flexible schedule, based on individual preferences. Riders are also welcome to bring service animals along for the journey. This service caters to older adults seeking a reliable, safe, and efficient mode of transport, ensuring they can maintain independence and access necessary resources within the community.
