Provides rides for only the following purposes: necessary errands, medical appointments, grocery shopping, or social or recreational purposes. Also, you must meet at least one of these criteria: you are 60+ years old, or you have a disability. No membership is required.

The Transportation Service program offers older adults the opportunity to access affordable transportation options through bus or train services. Riders can choose from different pricing options based on their travel needs, with suggested donation amounts for round trips to Palmer and Wasilla, and a set fee for trips to Anchorage. To utilize this program, older adults need to schedule their rides in advance, with a recommendation to do so at least a few days to a week ahead. Payment for rides can be made conveniently through checks or cash, providing flexibility for riders. By offering a reliable transportation service, this program aims to support older adults in maintaining their independence and mobility to reach their desired destinations safely and affordably.
