Provides rides for only the following purposes: necessary errands, medical appointments, or social or recreational purposes. Also, you must meet at least one of these criteria: you are 60+ years old. No membership is required.
The Public Transit Program offers convenient and accessible transportation options for older adults in the community. Participants can utilize bus or train services for their needs, whether it's traveling within the core area for a suggested donation of $3.50 per ride or accessing the premium area for $5.50 per ride. To make use of this program, older adults need to schedule their rides a few days in advance, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience.
This program provides shared rides, allowing older adults to connect with their peers and enhance their social interactions while on the move. The transportation service offers curb-to-curb assistance, prioritizing the comfort and safety of its riders throughout the journey. Participants are welcome to bring their service animals along for the ride, promoting inclusivity and support for older adults with special assistance needs.
